Language Course & Accommodation
Our language school will be happy to offer you accommodation for the duration of your German course in Berlin.
You will live with a German host and have your own private room in a shared apartment.
Our hosts can be people living alone, couples or (in fewer cases) families. Sometimes, depending on the size of the accommodation, other language students might also be living in the same apartment during your stay. In any case, you will have a chance to immerse yourself into everyday Berlin life while also having an opportunity to meet new people.
Most of our accommodations have single rooms, but some of our places also offer double rooms. You can book a double room if you are arriving with a friend or your partner.
In most accommodations, you will share the bathroom with your hosts, but a few do provide our students with their own. You will also share the kitchen where you can keep your food, prepare meals and have your coffee or tea in the morning.
If you book your private accommodation with breakfast or half board, the meal will be provided by the host. The half board consists of breakfast and a warm meal for supper.
The accommodation will provide bed linen and towels; and if you would like to do laundry, it will be possible to use the washing machine. In some accommodations, you
might be asked to pay a small fee for laundry expenses.
Almost all our accommodations will have internet access. In addition, you will also be able to use the free WLAN at our language school during our opening hours.
All our private accommodations are located a maximum of 30 minutes from our language school via public transport. In some cases, you might even be able to walk as we have several accommodations located near the school.
You will always receive a key to the apartment or house so that you can come and go as you please.
The private accommodations are located in various Berlin districts. Some are located in greener and quieter residential areas like Dahlem, whereas some are in livelier districts such as Kreuzberg and Schöneberg.
We know all our hosts personally and we have been working with most of them for many years. Former students of ours continue to confirm the high standards of our accommodations, especially as they pertain to the exceptional quality of the food, cleanliness and general amenities.
You have to be at least 18 years old to book a private accommodation and you can book for any number of weeks between two and ten.
When you register for the German course with accommodation, you can inform us of any special preferences you might have regarding accommodation. We will always take any allergies into consideration and we will also try to fulfill all your wishes as much as we possibly can.
Arrival takes place on the Sunday before the start of your German course and departure is on the Saturday after the last day of the course.
