German courses for beginners

If you have no prior knowledge of the German language, we encourage you to register for one of our beginner courses. These courses are structured for learners who do not speak German yet, but do have a good command of the Latin alphabet. Our German beginner courses start at the beginning of each month. The intensive courses always start on the first Monday of each month, and the evening courses for beginners start in the first week of each month. After only a few weeks, our beginner course will have taught you useful vocabulary and have you communicating in basic conversations. Our course goal is to put a lot of emphasis on being able to speak German right from the start; as a result, this is why we have small class sizes. In the intensive courses a maximum of only twelve students will be in one class, while our evening courses have a maximum of ten. We only have experienced teachers who teach at all levels, including the beginner courses. And because our courses never end, you will be with the same teacher from the A1 beginners’ levels and beyond. Our goal is to create a stable and effective learning environment that will be conducive to making progress. Our beginner courses work with the renown textbook "Netzwerk Neu A1.1" from the reputable Klett Verlag. These textbooks give you access to many analogue and digital resources, so that you can practice your German in many different ways during and after class. It is also possible to take private lessons either at our school or online.

Why berlin is a great place to learn german

Berlin is the capital of Germany and the country’s largest city. Its districts all possess a distinct character that continually offer its citizens and visitors something new to discover.  From the hustle and bustle of its lively inner districts to its quiet and tranquil outskirts, Berlin always seems to have something for everyone. Ever since the early 19th century, Berlin has been the proud home of education and high culture. Its world renown universities, museums, theaters and opera houses rank among some of the best in all of Europe. The city also boasts a unique alternative scene where young and creative artists have found a home in which their creativity can thrive. In short, Berlin is an interesting and exciting city in which to learn German. Each year several language learners attend our German courses to prepare themselves to study at a university in Germany, and Berlin happens to be one of the most popular university cities in the country. In addition to Berlin’s four largest universities – Freie Universität, Technische Universität, Humboldt Universität and Universität der Künste – there are over 30 other public and private post-secndary institutions located throughout the city. Studying at state or public institutions is tuition free except for semester fees that total around €300 per semester. Moreover, Berlin is still a relatively affordable city in which to live. Despite the fact that rent prices have risen in recent years, the cost of living is still generally lower than other major German cities. Because the sheer size of Berlin can be overwhelming to newcomers, we can assist in helping you get your feet on the ground and to get the lay of the land. We’re happy that you’ve found the right language school in us and it’s therefore important to us that you have a wonderful experience in our city.
